We are glad that you are here. Christ Our Redeemer is a place where you can come as you are, not a place where everyone has it all together. Instead, we are a diverse group of believers who need the grace and forgiveness of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are excited to share that Good News with you, too!

Pastor Dan says, “My wife Ellen and I have been serving in El Paso since November of 1992. We’ve raised our three children here and have lived more than half our lives here. El Paso is our home. We are so grateful to the community, and for the community. Sharing the good news of Jesus, our Savior, has been our greatest honor. El Paso is a growing city with growing opportunities to reach out with God’s peace, love, and forgiveness. We can’t wait to see what the future brings. By God’s grace and power, we know it will be great.”

When time allows, Dan and Ellen take long walks with their two Golden Retrievers, attend sporting events, or visit their grandchildren in Austin.

Staff Minister

Daniel says: “I moved here from Wisconsin in 1998 and am proud to call El Paso my home. I was blessed to be joined by my wife Shani in 2008. We love our church family and want nothing more than to see this family grow and thrive. My part in that is to oversee our youth ministry and outreach efforts. I am eager to serve you! Above all I want you to know God’s grace to you in Jesus – that you are LOVED, you are BLESSED, you are HIS.”

In their free time, Daniel and Shani enjoy board games & movie nights with friends, exploring restaurants around town, watching baseball and spoiling their four cats.
